Snjezana Mestrovic received her Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University, with a major in English and a minor in Criminology. She obtained her law degree in 2014 as part of the inaugural class at Thompson Rivers University. Prior to joining Dunnaway Jackson, Snjezana completed her articles at a boutique law firm specializing in Workers’ Compensation Board and Canada Pension Plan appeals. She was called to the British Columbia bar in 2015 and has since practiced exclusively in the area of family law.
Snjezana strives to provide her clients with effective and reasoned advice as she guides them through the personal and highly individualized aspects of divorce or common law separation. She assists clients with various issues including guardianship and parenting arrangements, relocation, child and spousal support, property division, cohabitation and marriage agreements, and separation agreements. While she has experience practicing in all areas of family law, Snjezana is particularly interested in matters involving children. She has represented clients in both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court levels. Snjezana is able to provide services in both English and Serbian.
Outside of work, Snjezana enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
